Eclipsys WebChart Review 1.2

The Eclipsys WebChart Review 1.2 is a web-based viewer for the Eclipsys (SCC) Documentation System currently used at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center for inpatient visits. This application can be accessed from within the hospital or via the Internet.

This "view-only" product is considerably different than the Eclipsys SCC product.

• WebChart Review data is encrypted so that communication between your computer and Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Care cannot be read by unauthorized individuals.
  
• User buttons are now located above the census screen for easier access.
  
• WebChart Review allows a user to open more than one active/inactive patient chart at a time.
  
• The screens will not exactly match the Eclipsys SCC display, but the clinical information will be present.
  
• Eclipsys WebChart Review 1.2 starts up from a desktop icon instead of accessing it through the Infonet website.
  

Instructions to download the new version of WebChart Review 1.2

The following directions must be followed before using WebChart Review 1.2.

• You will need to install the ChartReview browser on your PC. Please note: You must be using Windows as your operating system.
  
• If you are connected to the Internet, please click on this link:

http://140.251.117.63:3000/chartreview.html

Otherwise:

If you are using Internet Explorer, please go to page 5.

Using Netscape:

- Double click on the Netscape icon on your desktop.
- Enter http://140.251.117.63:3000/chartreview.html into the Location bar of Netscape.

- Please GRANT permission to the JavaScript from Zero G Software, Incorporated. This will allow your PC to download the necessary files to install the ChartReview browser. The click on the Start Installer for Windows button.

After the download of the files have been completed, you will see the following window:

Click done

Please go to page 7 to continue. If you are using Internet Explorer, please proceed to page 5.
Using Internet Explorer:

- Double click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.
- Enter http://140.251.117.63:3000/chartreview.html into the Address bar of Internet Explorer.

You will see another window pop up:

- Please answer YES to install & run InstallAnywhere Web Installer from Zero G Software, Incorporated. This will allow your PC to download the necessary files to install the Chart Review browser.

- Then click on the Download Installer for Windows button in the Internet Explorer Window.

Next you will see the installation window. Please click on the Next button.

Click on the Install button.

Click done.

You have completed installation.

You will see a new icon added to your desktop.

Double-click on the ChartReview icon and enter the following screen is displayed:

Enter the following information:

Web Server address:
140.251.117.63

Web server port:
3000

Click on the OK button

The Eclipsys Chart Review window screen is displayed and ready to start using it.

- Please enter your user name, your password and then press the Login button. Passwords are case sensitive. Please check the "Caps Lock" status light.
