elcome to my personal world with this wonderful printer - Epson 2200 (in the USA or 2100 in the rest of the world). Since the printer has an excellent output already, my obsession about it seems to go to the cartridge design. I opened one cartridge in August and it it took me almost 2 months to understand it all. I never thought of making website for it, but I found many refill instructions of the third party ink retailers is not correct. So this site then was made in order to share my knowledge with everyone. You will find a deep details about this cartridge which is also the same cartridges found in other new Epson models e.g. C80, C82, 960, etc. Epson do not recommend refilling or using of the third party ink which I agree for the latter. However, I think the safe refills is an acceptable practice, it will save the world from these non-biodegradable garbages. This site is only for education purposes. If you don't feel like it's possible for you, please do not follow. I can not be responsible for any damages if happened, it's solely your decision. Children should be entirely under parents' guidance !

Wow, I'm so ashamed of absence from my own site. Last updage was over 2 year now. Well, a new job  - the relocation - that whole nine yard. The update is I'm no longer own Epson 2200. I was indecisive between R1800 and 2400 and I ended up with R1800. Much to your surprise, I do have my own reason for that. I have not yet refill the cartridge of R1800, although I have opened the similar cartridge from C86 something years ago and I'm convinced that it's still refillable. Another shame to review that I do not have much time to print these days. Over the past 6 month ownership of R 1800 - the first set of cartridge still not out yet !

I've been printing the DVD-Rs over the past month, more than other printing jobs now. Since I just discovered the way to back up the DVD and also just get crazy to back up all the infos. I found another brand of printable DVD-R 4X which seems to be pricey but works quite well. Click on CD-R printing and scroll down to see that I've added that to the list. Over the next week, I've another brand yet to come and will post the results.

Oh Boy, somebody who probably means well to me,  has warned me about the unauthorization distribution of copyrighted profiles. It sounds very dreadful and serious, enough that I have to talk to many people and couldn't sleep well !. To be safe, at least this moment - I will take down all the profiles that made by Monake ! but the others that mady be Cathy S will available. Don't cry, they are not of good quality anyway !

Finally, MIS has sent me an e-mail to remove the link to their obselete refill instruction. I have now remove anything in that page that related this company. Just ignore where the source is from. I like to leave the instruction page just that way to remind people to be careful. I feel bad about the customers who have followed these improper instuctions. Seem like there is no apology come out but just remove it, no responsibility. I think the bigger the company, the more carefulness needed before publish those such instructions. Well , at least they aware and took it out while some other retailers still posted and no correction made !, poor consumers.

Thanks everybody for visiting. This is getting popular enough that I recieved a lots of e-mails including one from John Mills who has asked me politely to remove the documented related to his websites which I have done so (everything related to weink.com). I hope everyone is happy now (waiting to see when MIS gonna send me the same kind of message !.
