Gretag Macbeth Is it the best? I'm not sure but it sure is expensive and it's the one that Epson used to make their canned profiles.
Eye One Color one of my dream systems. Bad enough, too expensive to afford.
EZ color many levels of entry for this company. I found their EZ color Monaco (entry level) works fine for me. Notice, I didn't say it's perfect.
Color Vision Another company that sells something more affordable. Pick the one that work for you. You'll be wondering how could you profile your printer in just a snap. George Rodart is a very helpful customer support.
Profile Prism The cheapest on earth for profiling tools. The development on this software is on-going. Now it's v 3.6 but soon it'll be v. 9.6. The same author who made a famous Qimage - Mike Chaney.
Praxisoft Most people will know this company for the maker of WiziWYG. I have no experience. It's certainly not cheap but affordable !
Colorblind I got to admit that I know very little about this company. But it's a proof that there are more than many to choose from.
Chromaticity.com Another web site that both selling the various products and providing a profiling service.
Rods and Cones Nice name and nice source for the CMSs.
chromix.com The integrated shopping place to buy all the gadgets for color management.
profilecity.com They are selling and providing the service for profiling.
cathysprofiles.com Read the story of somebody who started to enter the the profiling world from nothing and never thought to come this far.. Cathy now own the professional instruments and would like to offer everyone the usable profiles at a reasonable price. For those who never enjoy the scanner based profiles making and also don't want to spend 3-4 grands - this is the way to go.
