3/25/02   New picture in "main page" of the Magazine.
   Look what I've found from doing Columbia Baby hospital rotation. On the way back home, the drive on the riverside drive is such a wonderful and pleasant experience. The picture is one of the famous structure, the weather is still cold but it sure will be warmer.
 
3/13/02   It works now.
   Seems like it's my first time to get what I requested for. There was a problem with the javascript and the old Netscape (v. 4.7) that we have in every workstation in our hospital (the world are not gonna believe this!), with the Resident login page at ACGME site. After only 1 e-mail, the person named "Jim" has already fixed it for us. Now we can add the cases from the old Netscape. Thank God ! click to go to Resident case log in
 
3/12/02    The Special Article - One lung Ventilation in Pediatrics
   The last time I got a chance to do one lung ventilation in the kid has brought me to write something about it. There is nothing much, just only to present the article about measurements about airway and tube sizes related to Single lung ventilation in pediatrics. I intend to have this as my own reference and you may use it as your reference too.

   Click on Magazine button or the A-Z icon on the right to read something serious. After I've long been thinking about what should be the "G" word, finally, we got this one.. ha ha .... find out what it is. It won't take long to get to know it. You may have to be involved with it someday.

   Actually, this page was in the plan since I started to design the web site and it just happened to be finished now (what a shame !). Anyway, you can find the hospital phone numbers in many many areas including the attending office phone (not home phone !). Another way to see, besides of clicking page/e-mail button. Do you see the new button on the left ?????

2/26/02    calls, calls, calls and tally again
   Not much, just to let you know that the new 11 weeks call schedule have been scanned up and the tally has also been updated. The most exciting cout is still S1, very very thrilled. 2/22/02   Another party ! (for Dr. Rosner)
   P.R. or Paul Ritchie is throwing another party on Friday's night at his (and Cameron's) place (3 bedroom apt), unit 19K - Payson House building. This is also a party for Dr. Rosner who will leave us (again) to NYU. Because we have no fund to hire a caterer, the foods is more than welcome (or required), please bring some food! or drinks and join us at 19K, Payson house on March 1st, 2002 night.

   There will be lectures held at The New York Academy of Medicine about obstetric and anesthesia at this coming Wed - Feb 20,2002.    New review article about the new neuromuscular blocking agent , do they offer any advantages ? . Getting to know GW280430A and G-1-64 and why rapacuronium was withdrawn.
  While reading, let's find out how many attendings in our department was mentioned about in this article and how many times they refer to Dr. Belmont.

2/4/02   Tally... Log in
   Now it took me and "nong Bank" ("nong" means little brother in Thai) about 1 Saturday to make it. Thanks "nong Bank" again for those complicated codes - sql, etc .. etc.
    Anyway, now you can log in to see your call report, which will tell your total number of calls in each category including max and min of each. A little flaws in min/max of S1/OB/PACU calls which is under fixing process. You can access the tally page from the button in call schedule page or click the icon on your right.
