It
took me only few hours last Saturday in the PACU to count
everyone's calls. It answers lots of questions in my mind
and I'm not surprised with the outcome at all. In this
count, I have to appreciate the class of CA3 which is
a very small class and they seems to take call base on
a person very often in a short run. And ah.. hem - be
pround my friends in CA2 we take the most calls of the
department (total 691 calls, CA-3 386 calls, CA1 421).
Take a look by yourself. There will be no names on it,
just feel it, imagine it. I'm making the part the you
can log in and see your own tally. Will let you know when
it's done.

: Dr. Rosner is also leaving !
Dr.
Rosner has confirmed that he'll soon be leaving the
department for a better job downtown, follows Dr. Blanck,
within the next month. Eventhough I don't have his picture
but he is OK for me to portrait him with this guy just
to draw your attention. ( I hope he won't go to Hollywood).
Meanwhile, we also have 2 new attendings, Dr. Zylberger
who is a pain management specialist and Dr. Pryadko
who is a neuro-anesthesiologist and a LMA-Fastrach
specialist (besides from Dr. Dhar). Plus, we got
Christopher DiMeo who switch the program to join our
CA-1 class. Ah hem... may I have few more for my class
? (to take my 5 weekend calls !)

Hey,
it's been a long while that I haven't updated the magazine.
I just put up the new cover in "main"
page. Thanks to Dr. Jabali who gave me a paper about
the guidelines of neuraxial block and anticoagulation.
The originals are in www.asra.com.

: What's up with me ?
Yes,
after it's been long used, very liberally. Now DEATH
has been reported. It's scary now, I used to use it almost
routinely and now, have to think really hard. Read the
message about it by click on the picture, it's the same
thing you got in the mailbox, I just scan it up as a reference.

: Pictures from Holiday party is up ! Who was dancing ?
Actually,
this is just a sample of pictures that I recieved from
Shonda. They were taken by Shonda and only 19 of them.
John (our chief resident) has taken hundreds ! of pictures
including the amazing dancers from that night. I'll put
them up as soon as I get those from John. ! Click the
gallery button on your left to view.

: Ding is leaving, Dhar is not !
I
have interviewed both. Dr. Ding will be leaving somewhere
in February for a better job, closer (from his apt) and
no residents (why not ....). So, we'll be nice to Dr.
Ding (as always) and god bless him the best in the career.
Dr. Dhar said "not yet, I just started". Dr.
Dhar will be with us - the active learning residents -
for now. She wishes to do more vascular cases instead
of Cysto/ESWL !

: Keywords ?
Over
the past month, I've been doing these keywords that we
(CA-2) got from Dr. Levin in the lectures. Everythings
gotto have the first time and this is why it took me so
long. We have many keywords flying over from many lectures
and I still hope my friends would help me with those.

: PGA 55 tour
I
found that PGA 55 this year is much less crowded than
last year. However, it's free for us and it's just in
town, I would never miss it. Take a tour with me if you
like, read what I've found. I missed many workshops and
mini-workshop because it's sold out very early. Will try
again next year, see you there next year. Click on the
icon to read the tour page.
